Call Center Registration Importance

Call Center business is exempt from Income Tax in Pakistan. Why? Because it comes under services and provides foreign exchange remittance. Even if you are not serving international customers, you need to register your call center.

PSEB Call Center Registration process in Pakistan

PSEB performs the Call center registration. PSEB is Pakistan Software Exchange Board. The following are the documents required to register:

  • Private Limited Company  / Single Member Pvt Ltd / Firm Registration (Form C)
  • NTN of company / NTN of Firm
  • Bank Account Details
  • List of Directors / Partners – basic profile and contact details
  • Total Employees and basic profiles
  • Brief company profile

On the whole, PSEB takes a few days for verification. After verification, they issue a certification and an ID. your certification has to be re-certified every 4 years.

After you get registered, you can apply to PTCL for a local number.

Important : Your PSEB allows you to get the UAN, local or international routing number. Call centers need routing numbers. And without PSEB you will not be able to get the number. Additionally, if you are running an international call center, your number needs to go through a Voice Over IP network. For that, you need to be registered. Registration is must for companies running international outbound campaigns from Pakistan.

You can show your PSEB number to PTCL or any network you work with. The network ensures your number and connectivity is white-listed. White-listed means that your number will not be blocked. Moreover, Government of Pakistan monitors all traffic. Being on the white-list, your call center will keep on working. No worries on the number of calls. Either inbound, our outbound.

 

Pakistan software export board (PSEB) registration fee

As you use the call center services, there is an annual fee for the PSEB registration. You get an annual certification as acceptance and registration.
